Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Okay OK (okayok.ai), the official website for the OK product family, collects, uses, and protects information. This document is a draft for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.

Information We Collect

  1. Account information — If you create or sign into an account, we may collect your name, email address, and related profile details.
  2. Usage data — Pages you visit, approximate timestamps, referrers, and basic interaction metrics that help us improve the site.
  3. Device and technical data — Browser type, OS, language, IP address (or truncated IP), and similar diagnostics collected via hosting and analytics infrastructure.
  4. Communications — Messages you send to support or other contact addresses.
  5. Cookies and similar technologies — See the Cookies section below.
  6. Payment information — If paid features or products are purchased through this site, billing is handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Product-specific tools (for example OK Tools or OK Video) may have their own sites and additional privacy notices.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in (session / auth cookies).
  • Remember preferences such as language/locale.
  • Measure site reliability and traffic when analytics are enabled.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit account or preference features.

Third-party services

We rely on infrastructure providers to run okayok.ai, which may process technical data on our behalf:

  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and CDN / security for our domains.
  • Object storage (S3-compatible / Cloudflare R2 when configured) — storing uploaded or generated assets for features that need persistence.
  • Auth / email / payment providers — when you sign in, receive mail, or make a purchase.

We do not sell your personal information.

  • Secure the service and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate about accounts, security, and support.
  • Process payments when applicable.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact support@okayok.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Data security and retention

We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS and access controls. No online service is perfectly secure. We retain account and operational logs only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize them where practicable.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is intended to be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction to be confirmed by counsel] (operator is based in the People’s Republic of China). Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Personal information processor

The personal information processor for this site is the Okay OK operator (contact: support@okayok.ai / guoqiang.fu@okayok.ai). Purposes and means of processing are described in the sections above (account operation, site security, analytics/hosting, and optional paid features). Categories typically include account identifiers, usage/technical logs, and communications. Retention follows the Data security and retention section. You may exercise rights (access, copy, correction, deletion, and other rights available under applicable law including China’s PIPL where it applies) by contacting us. We will notify you of material changes to this notice by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Separate consent will be sought where required for sharing, cross-border transfer, or processing of sensitive personal information.

Cross-border transfers

Infrastructure providers (for example Vercel, Cloudflare, and storage/AI vendors) may process data in or from locations outside your country, including outside the People’s Republic of China. Where PIPL cross-border rules apply, we will use a lawful mechanism (such as a standard contract, security assessment, or certification, as applicable) and provide required recipient disclosures. Details of specific recipients can be requested via support@okayok.ai.
